Innovative Thinking as Important as Innovative Products


In the partitioning walls sector, ‘product’ innovation is not the only factor in creating clever, stylish and flexible space.

At Bristol Life Sciences, DORMA Moveo was adapted by Style into a completely automated moveable wall so that it could fit into a tight space in between workbenches.

At Manchester Central Library, Style’s solution for sub-dividing space complemented the building’s splendour, catering for its curved shape through faceted tracks. A curved wall also won favour at Newcastle University Student Union, and at St. Joseph’s Primary school in Dundee the assembly hall required a partitioning wall over 5000mm in height resulting in panels weighing up to 450kg. As this posed a significant manual handling risk to the school staff a completely automated solution was delivered on a product that is not normally fully automatic.
