Autumn bookings being taken for Style’s RIBA approved CPD

Architects looking for RIBA approved CPDs this Autumn are being urged to book in advance for Style’s CPD seminar, with places already filling up for Autumn 2023.

Focusing on the topics of “Multi-functional space” and “Fully automated vertically rising acoustic partition systems”, Style’s RIBA approved CPDs have become increasingly popular since the growth of hybrid working which has been impacting upon office space design.

“Flexible space has now become a prerequisite of most building designs,” said Julian Sargent, Style’s group managing director, “which is why it is more important than ever for architects to be familiar with all the latest moveable wall innovations.

“As the UK market leader in the moveable wall sector, we have extensive expertise in the creation of adaptable space across a broad range of market sectors.

“It’s for this reason why our CPD seminars have always been so popular, because we cover a wide range of areas such as moveable wall design, structure, building interface, BIM and acoustic performance plus other criteria such as finishes, health & safety, and maintenance.

“With sustainability underpinning every new build and refurbishment project, we also talk about the EPD certification of moveable walls. This is the environmental product declaration which acts as its green certification.”

Style’s CPD is designed to inspire and educate architects about totally new concepts in space division, and the 35-40 minute session can either be hosted via a webinar, or at the architect's premises over a buffet lunch.

“The moveable, folding and partitioning wall sector is moving very quickly,” continued Julian, ”with fully automated systems becoming increasingly popular.

“Combinations of glass and solid moveable walls have also grown recently and some of the systems we are now installing have exceptional acoustics, finishes and ease of operation.

“As a result, we have seen a sharp rise in demand for our CPD seminars, because room flexibility has become such a key criteria for both refurb and new build projects.”
