Style’s ongoing commitment to apprentices
As the UK’s leading moveable partitioning wall specialist, Style is proud of its youth development policy which is seeing an increasing number of young apprentices learn, develop and grow, becoming important members of the team.
Working in close partnership with local colleges with support from the CITB (Construction Industry Training Board), the company is developing many incredibly talented, hard-working and enthusiastic young people who are emerging from schools and colleges, eager to learn.
Key qualifications across Style’s regional UK offices include:
- NVQ Level 3 in Construction contracting operations
- NVQ Level 3 in Construction and the built environment
Julian Sargent, Style’s group managing director said, “As a group we are reliant on the quality of our staff, and this is why we have a firm commitment to give young people their first step on the career ladder through our UK-wide apprentice scheme.”
“There are many incredibly talented, ambitious young people emerging from our schools and colleges and their desire to learn and grow within the company is fantastic.”
Adam Wood, a construction contract NVQ level 3 apprentice at Style’s northern office, said, “There’s a growing number of us at Style who are all progressing through their apprentice scheme, and I feel really fortunate that they gave me this opportunity to learn new skills and be part of an award winning business.”
“The company’s directors and management team have invested in my future and when we meet architects, contractors and local authorities we get a great reception because everyone believes in the importance of young people like me being given these opportunities to join, and learn from, market leading businesses like Style.”
