UK architects and contractors can gain inspiration and ideas from a project in Sweden where fully automated moveable walls combine to deliver a breath-taking room design.
According to Julian Sargent, group managing director of Style, the exclusive partner to Skyfold in the UK, the Gothia Towers Exhibition Centre in Gothenburg showcases five Skyfold vertical-rising moveable walls, which can open everyone’s minds to the possibilities of large scale flexible space.
“The Gothia Towers Exhibition is a breath-taking project, and a great example of what can be achieved with Skyfold.” said Julian.
“The project has attracted architects from across the world to take a look at the key features that this product can offer, including the exceptional acoustic integrity and the automation of all five walls simultaneously.
“It’s great to see such amazing products in different parts of the world and Skyfold’s partners in Sweden have done an amazing job at a time when our own partnership with Skyfold in the UK is leading to many equally incredible projects.
“Take for example, The Francis Crick Institute in London. Here we used Skyfold to divide a very large stepped auditorium into two separate lecture halls with an exceptional level of acoustic integrity.
“There are so many wonderful projects like this, and I’d urge any architect to look at the case studies both on our web site and from across the world to see this incredible moveable wall in action.”
Style is the exclusive UK partner to Skyfold which has seen huge popularity in universities, schools and colleges. It is also used extensively in company boardrooms, hotels and conference centres.
