Dorma Variflex 100/120 Movable Wall
Manually operated movable wall system. Each element incorporates spring loaded top and bottom mechanical seals. Seals are operated by means of a removable 'crank' handle and engaged by a winding mechanism to ensure optimum contact pressure of 1500N minimum. Seals are to be constructed of aluminium with flexible rubber inter locking contact points.Telescopic element must maintain all the same quality and acoustic criteria as the standard panel elements, and should be operated by a single mechanism for both top, bottom and lateral seals. Lateral seal extension to be 120mm.
Movable wall comprising individual top hung, full height panels of equal size, made to measure to suit site dimensions. When wall is closed between fixed abutments it gives the appearance of a solid flush wall, with concealed interlocking concave and convex extruded aluminium edge profiles which incorporate integral magnetic strips.
Tri-block panels to be constructed of a non-deflecting steel tube frame complete with independent aluminium edge profiles, panel thickness 100/120mm. The frame must be clad either side with 16mm 3-ply quality chipboard panels hung in acoustic isolation from the frame and allowed to vibrate independently of the frame. The fascia panels must be easily removable without the need to remove the panels from site. Track extruded aluminium, track junctions incorporating drop forged roller bearings. Carriers fully adjustable and secured to panels by horizontal ball bearings engaging with shock absorbing roller pins.

Pass door or double pass door panels supported with a surrounding portal frame. The lateral posts incorporating compression to enable positive floor engagement. Post stability shall be reinforced by locking projections that engage in flush-recessed floor sockets.
Performance test in line with DIN EN 1634-3
