Birmingham
& Solihull L.I.F.T. Projects Carillion Building are carrying out two current L.I.F.T.
Projects in the Birmingham region; Style Partitions have secured
the order for a moveable partition at both sites.
We are supplying Woodgate Valley Health Centre
with a 43dB Operable Wall between 'Training' and 'Seminar'
rooms, a floor supported system has been utilised. A
chase has been cut into the slab to enable the floor track
to be laid flush with the carpet.
At Chelmsley Wood Health Centre in an opening
between a 'Library' and 'Staff Room' we are supplying our
Series 4800 Accordion Partition, a concertina type which will
bunch at either end of the opening reducing the stacking area
required.

Rolls
Royce - Derby & Hucknall Style Partitions have been successful in securing
the business for a total of 6No. Operable Walls from main
contractors Bowmer & Kirkland for two new projects at
Rolls Royce sites in Derby and Hucknall.
Hufcor's 8000 Series Operable Walls are being
installed into meeting rooms and conference rooms throughout
the developments. Both Centre-Hung and Multi-Directional
systems are being utilised specific to the demands of each
'wall' location.
At Rw 50dB acoustic ratings the products chosen
will offer a very good level of sound reduction providing
the meeting and conference rooms with the desired environment
either side.

Sandwell
L.I.F.T. Projects - West Midlands
Laing O'Rourke Midlands Ltd has placed orders with us for
the moveable walls required at two new build sites in West
Bromwich and Oldbury, under the project title of Sandwell
L.I.F.T.
We are supplying both centre-hung and multi-directional
systems in the seminar and community rooms within the new
developments. With an acoustic rating of 47dB the moveable
walls will give a good level of sound reduction and provide
the flexibility of space required by the facility managers.
